PAMPAM
0-3 years
Female
Pampam endured a horrific first month of life, abandoned at a roadside shelter, starving, dehydrated, and mauled by a dog. She required pain medication, antibiotics, and stitches for her wounds. Despite initial fears she wouldn't survive due to high fever and hyperventilating, Pampam fought back and began to recover.
Pampam has grown into an energetic and curious dog. While she remains shy around strangers, she's particularly affectionate with Myla and Malee, two paraplegic dogs she loves to play with. The deep bite wounds she suffered when mauled by a dog as a puppy have left her with a weaker left thigh, resulting in a minor, barely noticeable limp due to her constant darting around.
Pampam is a miracle dog. If we hadn't rescued her when she was so tiny she would have died. Her determination to pull through has made her a strong dog but still very nervous of strangers. She has been known to hide in the bushes when strangers arrive and will stay hidden until they leave.
Pampam would love a sponsor to care about her and help us continue to give her the care she so rightly deserves.
